GOLDEN QUEEN MINING COMPANY LTD. ANNOUNCES FILING OF NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT FOR THE SOLEDAD MOUNTAIN PROJECT

Golden Queen Mining Co. Ltd. has filed an independent technical report prepared in accordance with Canadian Securities Administrators' National Instrument 43-101. The technical report may be found on the company's website or under the company's profile on SEDAR.

The technical report, dated Feb. 25, 2015, entitled "Soledad Mountain Project, Technical Report and Updated Feasibility Study, Kern County, California," was issued by Kappes, Cassiday & Associates (Reno, Nev.), with contributions from Mine Development Associates (Reno, Nev.) and Norwest Corp. (Vancouver, B.C.). The technical report provides technical and financial details to the disclosure contained in the company's news release issued on Feb. 10, 2015, in which the company announced the key results of its revised resource estimates and updated feasibility study. The named parties are qualified persons as defined by NI 43-101 and are independent of the company as defined in Section 1.5 of NI 43-101.
