Husband arrested six weeks after Texas woman's murder

FRISCO, Texas - Anna Moses, a popular college administrator in Texas, was found dead almost six weeks ago, and now her husband has been charged with her murder reports CBS DFW.

From the beginning of the investigation, police said that the crime did not appear to be random.

Investigators spoke with 63-year-old Robert Moses on the day after Anna's body was discovered. During that interview, police say they noticed a fresh cut on his right hand, above his ring finger's knuckle, which was soaking through a bandage. That cut was the clue that ultimately led to his arrest, reports the station.

Anna was an administrator at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Her body was discovered after she did not show up to work back in January. Officers went to her house and found her dead inside. Her car was found blocks away from the residence.

DNA samples from her husband matched blood that was found in Anna's car. It is not clear why police took almost six weeks to make an arrest in the case, reports CBS DFW. The Texas Rangers and U.S. Marshals helped take the suspect into custody.

Bond for Robert Moses has been set at $1 million.
