Holi special trains from Mumbai to Gorakhpur, Varanasi

KANPUR: The North Central Railways will run Holi specials during festive period. Authorities on Friday said Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Gorakhpur (01047/01048) would depart on a single trip on March 4 and return to LTT on March 8 (single trip) from Gorakhpur. This train would halt at, Bina, Jhansi, Orai and Kanpur railway stations. It will also reach Lucknow, Gonda and Basti before ending its journey in Gorakhpur.
The second special train is Mumbai CST-Varanasi Holi Special (01027/01028). This train will also make single trip from Mumbai on March 4 and return from Varanasi on March 5. This train will pass through Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nasik, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Allahabad to culminate at Varanasi railway station.
The third special train is between Nizamuddin and Allahabad. A superfast express and premium AC train, it would depart from Nizamuddin railway station on March 5 and return from Allahabad on March 6. This special train would have four AC II coaches and 10 AC III coaches. This train will have only one halt at Kanpur Central.
Apart from the Holi Special trains, two trains would be launched from April and operate till the end of June. These are special trains for summer holidays. The first summer train would run between Ahmedabad and Patna. A weekly premium superfast train, it would depart from Ahmedabad every Thursday starting April 2. This train would operate till June 25 and would make 13 trips. From Patna this special train would depart every Friday starting April 3 and continue operating till June 26.
The last special train to come on the railway tracks is 09421/09422 Ahmedabad-Allahabad weekly special premium train. This would depart on its maiden trip from Ahmedabad on April 5 and ply till June 28, making a total of 13 trips. From Allahabad it would depart every Friday commencing its first journey on April 6 and would run till June 29.
