Firing at Noida highrise triggers panic

Superintendent of Police Yogesh Singh said one version was that some children allegedly threw a water balloon on a visitor to the society. This angered him and he allegedly fired in the air. No one was injured in the incident, police said.

A senior police officer said it could also be the son of one of the residents who opened fire. “We have not received any complaint so far. A team is probing the case. If we do not receive a complaint, then on Saturday morning, we will recover CCTV footage and investigate the case further,” a senior officer said.
