FIR against Owaisi for last year’s hate speech
Delhi Police has registered an FIR against AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday in connection with an alleged hate speech he had delivered last year, and for waging war and promoting enmity among religious groups.
NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has registered an FIR against AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday in connection with an alleged hate speech he had delivered last year, and for waging war and promoting enmity among religious groups.
The FIR was registered at Farsh Bazar Police Station in east Delhi after a local court in the city directed Delhi Police on February 18 to lodge a criminal case against him under relevant provisions of the IPC on a private complaint.
