PASON APPOINTS JUDI HESS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Pason Systems Inc. has appointed Judi Hess to its board of directors, effective today.

Ms. Hess is the chief executive officer of Copperleaf Technologies Inc., a position she has held since 2009. Copperleaf Technologies is a privately owned enterprise software start-up. Previously, she was the president of Creo Inc., a publicly traded printing technology and workflow company that was acquired by Kodak in 2005. After Kodak's acquisition, she was named country manager of Canadian operations and general manager of one of Kodak's global business units. Prior to joining Creo, Ms. Hess was at MacDonald, Dettwiler & Associates, an aerospace and defence company. She has been a member of the B.C. Premiers Technology Counsel since 2009.

She joins the board members of Pason as an independent, non-executive director and will stand for nomination at the next annual meeting of shareholders.
