Worth every grain Worth every grain: A number of residents from Kemudo village in Klaten, Central Java, glean for leftover rice grains in a harvested paddy near Plaosan Temple on Thursday. As rice prices have already risen by more than 30 percent so far this year, every grain of the staple food is worth a lot to residents, who are able to collect up to a kilogram of leftover rice in a day.
