Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research has tied up with Social Media Week Conference (SMW) as its Learning Partner.
Social Media Week is a leading news platform and worldwide conference that curates and shares ideas, innovations and insights into how social media and technology are changing business, society and culture globally.
According to Dr Githa Heggde, Head Marketing at WeSchool Bangalore, the collaboration is to take the conference to the student community at large.
As part of the partnership, WeSchool hosted an event, which had sessions by Anusha Shetty, Co-Founder and CEO of Autumn Worldwide; Nidhi Bhasin, Associate Director-Mobile at Flipkart.com and Subhomoy Das, Head of communications, eBay and Paypal.
The event was organised by Mpower, the marketing club of WeSchool, Bangalore.
