Audiences will get to see Sharman Joshi's derriere soon, provided the Censor Board has no problem with the same. The Rang De Basanti actor is to go butt-naked for the film Hate Story 3, a continuation of the Hate Story franchise. The last in the franchise, Hate Story 2, released in 2014 and had Surveen Chawla and Jay Bhanushali in pivotal roles. The first Hate Story had Bengali actress Paoli Dam as the lead. This time around, the third Hate Story will feature Sharman and Zarine Khan in the main roles.
Speaking to a Mumbai-based tabloid, Sharman said, "We all enjoy erotica privately, so what's wrong if one is doing it in a film made for mass consumption? We're planning to do stuff which hasn't been attempted in this genre before. If the script requires me to go butt-naked, I am willing to drop my pants. I believe if erotica is shot aesthetically, it can be sexy."
Sharman's last Hindi film was Super Nani, which sank without a trace despite making quite a hue and cry. Joshi has been seen in super hits like Rang De Basanti and 3 Idiots, and has enjoyed a more or less 'family boy' image, as far as Bollywood films are concerned, and Joshi is not unwilling to shed that now.
