PU to host 2-day placement drive ‘Avsar 2015’

In the year 2014, Avsar was conducted for over three days, where more than 30 organisations had participated in the drive and around 170 students had got placed. Since the inception of AVSAR-2015, around 1,500 students have registered till date.

Various leading companies like Eicher, Ind-swift, infomaths, Tata AIG Insurance, Azim Premji Foundation, The Schoolhouse, Megrisoft, Perkin Elmer and Magbro Healthcare have confirmed their participation so far.

In the Current Session around 850 PU students have been placed in various Departments. As many as 11 students have been placed with Aakash Education Private limited. AVSAR 2015 also has a website dedicated to students’ placements. This dedicated website is loaded with up-to-date information on the proceedings and developments of the drive, acts as an interactive portal between the employers and the employable.

Meanwhile, the PU Central Placement centre will provide special training sessions and skill development training to prepare students for interviews, resume writing etc. To optimize the skills of the students, the University will also organize a one-day interactive workshop wherein the HR (Human Resource) Heads of some leading organizations will be invited to guide the students.
