Workshop held on safety at workplace

HPCL New White Oil Terminal on Wednesday organised a workshop on ‘personal protective equipment in industrial use’ for truck drivers, contract workmen and security staff.

The event was held in coordination with Karam Industries, Secunderabad.

The participants were explained the mistakes they committed generally.

Senior Manager-Safety C.V.N. Das said that majority of accidents in industries were happening due to lack of knowledge and improper usage of personal protective equipment by workmen.

Development executive of Karam Industries K.M. Ayub explained the need for using quality protective equipment and urged the participants not to compromise on personal safety.
