Thrissur Range IG T.J. Jose on Wednesday submitted an inquiry report to ADGP Sankar Reddy on an allegation against former city police commissioner Jacob Job that he tried to protect controversial businessman Mohammed Nisham in the Chandrabose murder case.

It was alleged that the commissioner held a personal meeting with Nisham, avoiding the other officers in the investigation team.

The Thrissur Vigilance court had ordered an investigation into allegation. An investigation has also been launched against his alleged tax evasions. — Staff Reporter
