The Karimnagar Municipal Corporation Mayor S. Ravinder Singh, has promised to launch special drive in Karimanagar to check pilferage of water by using motor pumps by some residents and denying the water supply to a majority of residents.
He participated in the developmental works in Hindupuri Colony and Vidyanagar localities in 49th division on Wednesday.
He said that motor pumps would be seized and an action would be initiated against the errant residents.
Local corporator B. Baghyalaxmi, TRS leaders Edla Ashok, Choppari Venu and others were also present on the occasion.
