Habibullah of Jhang and Zafar Iqbal of Multan won microwave ovens. Habibullah gave correct answers to all three questions while Iqbal gave two correct answers to be declared winners. Iqbal received the prize from Daily Express resident editor Multan Asif Ali Farrukh and Habibullah from Express correspondent in Jhang Khurram Saeed.

The beaming winners thanked Express Publications and McDonald’s Pakistan for the gifts. Iqbal while receiving his gift in Multan said that Express has increased the excitement of the World Cup by distributing prizes across Pakistan each day.

Habibullah said he is a policeman and a regular participant in the Express prize competition. He said that he had tried many times and finally won his prize in the West Indies-Zimbabwe match.

It is pertinent to note that under the ‘Josh World Cup ka aur Inaam Express, McDonald’s kay’ scheme, numerous gifts can be won by answering three simple questions via SMS before the start of matches. Winners are selected through a lucky-draw. Gifts include motorcycles, refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, LCD TV, air-conditioners and many other items.

Results of the lucky-draw are published each day in The Express Tribune, Daily Express and Sindh Express.
