Eight face charges for Udyog Vihar assault

GURGAON: Eight men are likely to be charged with assaulting a worker, Samichand, in Udyog Vihar.
Those arrested include Dharambir, the security officer, Bachchu Singh, drivers Deepak and Prahlad, security guards Anil and Santosh and housekeeping supervisor Takdeer Singh. They were identified in the CCTV footage of February 10.
The company’s HR manager, R S Yadav, was later arrested and made part of the investigation.All eight are likely to be chargesheeted within a couple of days, sources revealed.“We are preparing challans for the accused and the formality for chargesheets will be completed by the end of this week,” said Rajesh Kumar, ACP (crime).
