With only two rounds left before the semi finals, their last chance of defending their title was taken away from them.
It has been a tough year for the premiers who have struggled to put their best side on the pitch.
The top four now looks like Lidsdale, La Salle Hornets, Hampton and Portland.
The highlight of the round was a brilliant 117 by Lidsdale opener Ryan Gurney who will be a real key man when the play-offs come around.
It was an emphatic win by Hampton who batted first amassing the big total of 6-202.
Young opener Josh Kitchner again showed what a class batsman he is scoring 72.
Matt Palmer (56), Blake Caldwell (24 not out) and Sam Miller (17) all batted strongly.
Best with the ball for Lansdowne was Brendon Van Veen with 3-26.
Lansdowne showed little resistance to the Hampton bowling attack falling for only 81.
Brendon Van Veen (26), Jack Bilby (22 not out) and Jonathan Van Veen (11) all made it into double figures.
The Lansdowne batsman fell to one of the best efforts of the year when Pat McGregor tore through the line-up taking 7-25 off his 7.1 overs.
Stingers cruise to victory
La Salle Hornets v Lithgow Hotel: La Salle Hornets enjoyed a one sided win over Lithgow Hotel and showed they are a real force in the premierships race.
The Stingers bundled a depleted Lithgow Hotel out for only 90 runs with Lithgow Hotel only able to field seven players.
Clive White batted well for his 34 not out with support coming from Darren King (19).
Anthony Brown, Tod Walsh and Todd Costello all grabbed two wickets each.
The Lithgow Hotel total was never a worry for the Stingers with Todd Costello (43 not out), Mark Dicker (12) and Warren Stevens (30 not out) doing the job.
Lidsdale firm as favourites
Lidsdale v Portland: Lidsdale sent a message out to the other teams that they are the side to beat with another lop sided victory over Portland.
The highlight of the match was a brilliant 117 by Lidsdale opener Ryan Gurney.
Batting first, Lidsdale smashed out the big total of 3-305 with openers Rod Gurney scoring a massive 117 that featured two sixes and 12 fours and Thomas Thompson also in great form with 82.
Brendan Roach (67 not out) and Dallas Tilley (19) also chipped in.
In their run chase, Portland suffered three golden ducks and two ducks.
They finished their innings at 70 runs with their best being Shane Green (33 not out), Sam Cameron (12) and Joel Cameron (15).
The Lidsdale bowling attack was on fire with Chris Redding (5-31) and Josh Howarth (4-38) grabbing the wickets.
