Former Warwickshire captain Jim Troughton will be back on staff this summer as the Bears' fielding coach.
Troughton, 36 next week and who led Warwickshire to the County Championship title in 2012, was forced to retire last year because of a back injury.
A middle-order batsman noted for his athletic fielding too, he is to return to Edgbaston as part of the coaching staff.
Warwickshire director of cricket Dougie Brown said: "Jim is remembered as one of the best captains in the club's recent history - and he played a pivotal role in our success last season, despite his playing opportunities being restricted by injury.
"We're thrilled to secure his return as fielding coach."
