    Zomato's Deepinder Goyal and SlideShare founder Amit Ranjan invest in Squadrun

    BENGALURU: Top technology entrepreneurs Amit Ranjan who sold his startup SlideShare to LinkedIn and Deepinder Goyal, founder of restaurant search services provider Zomato have invested an undisclosed amount of seed funding in SquadRun, a mobile marketplace for crowdsourced work.

    Girish Khera, co-founder of medical animation studio Scientific Animations and Zishaan Hayath, founder of online test preparation startup Toppr also participated in the deal along with angel investors from Powai Lake Ventures.

    SquadRun's gamified app all lows users to make money by completing simple tasks of various businesses on their phone, as if they are playing a game.
