3 gangster-brothers held for beheading dead companion

Three brothers, who were members of a gang which used to steal electricity transformers, were arrested on Tuesday, four months after they allegedly beheaded their companion and buried him after he got electrocuted while coming in contact with a livewire.

KURUKSHETRA: Three brothers, who were members of a gang which used to steal electricity transformers, were arrested on Tuesday, four months after they allegedly beheaded their companion and buried him after he got electrocuted while coming in contact with a livewire.
"They were afraid of getting identified after one of their companions died during the theft of a transformer.
Investigations revealed that they first beheaded the deceased and later buried him so that he could not be identified," said sub-inspector Jagdish Chander.
Gajender, 35, from Allahabad village of the district, was electrocuted on October 25, 2014 in Kurukshetra village when he, along with other gang members, was removing electricity transformer wires. The accused have been identified as Udham Singh, Raja and Raju, all residents of Allahabad.
