LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 24, 2015) - Gabriel Salvador is a film and television actor whose credits include TNT's Rizzoli & Isles, CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. While continuing to moonlight as a waiter at celebrity hotspot Craig's in West Hollywood, Salvador is slated to appear as a recurring guest-star on the popular FOX show Bones, debuting this March.

"I feel lucky and honored to have been given this opportunity in my career," says Salvador. "I am so thrilled that FOX and the producers of Bones have entrusted me with a powerful role."

Salvador is of Puerto Rican and Polish-Jewish decent. He was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and credits this upbringing for his intense drive. He received classical training at Cornell University, which exposed him to theater's greats (including Shakespeare, Chekov, and Tennessee Williams). After graduating, he furthered his study with famed acting teacher Sondra Lee, with whom he continues to collaborate, and tutelage under Brian Reise and Ivana Chubbuck. He performed notable roles in off-Broadway productions as Marc Antony, Othello, and Stanley Kowalski, but relocated to Los Angeles after his portrayal of Papo in the film All Night Bodega brought him to the attention of industry professionals.

Salvador recently turned entrepreneurial, revealing himself in a Los Angeles Times article on February 21, 2015, as the key organizer of the long-awaited, historic fight between undefeated professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and eight-division world champion boxer, Manny Pacquiao. Salvador detailed how he brokered the opportunity through an arranged meeting between Leslie Moonves, President and CEO at CBS Corporation, and Freddie Roach, Pacquiao's trainer, who also teaches Salvador's son at Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, CA.

"Every tree starts with a seed," Salvador said. "I just knew, with no doubt, that if I brought Freddie Roach to Leslie Moonves, those two men could make the fight happen. I'm the finder."

An ardent student of language, Salvador speaks fluent Spanish, Swedish, and understands French and Hebrew. He is represented by Vincent Cirrincione Associates and Ellis Talent Group.
