IFCJ donates $500,000 for aliya

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews announced Tuesday it will donate $500,000 to the Jewish Agency to promote its aliya efforts in 2015 through the United Israel Appeal.
The IFCJ recently began its own aliya program, bringing in two planeloads of immigrants to Israel from war-torn eastern Ukraine last December.
“Protecting threatened and persecuted Jews and bringing them on aliya to Israel are two of IFCJ’s most central goals and purposes,” said IFCJ president and founder Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein.
“Wherever there are Jews in distress, we pledge to protect them, bring them home to Israel and help resettle them successfully,” he said.
