72 IAS officers transferred

The transfers have brought major change to Vadodara district with both collector and municipal commissioner being transferred.

Vadodara Collector Vinod Rao has been transferred as director of National Rural Health Mission, Gandhinagar. He has also been given additional charge of the post of director (ICDS), Commissionerate of Women & Child Development, Gandhinagar. He has been replaced by Bharuch Collector Avantika Aulakh as Vadodara Collector.

In his new posting, Rao has replaced Gujarat-cadre IPS officer Vipul Aggarwal who was holding the post of director, National Rural Health Mission in Gandhinagar.

Vadodara Municipal Commissioner Manish Bhardwaj has been transferred as secretary to Government, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department. He has been replaced by H S Patel Managing Director, Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., Surat, as Vadodara municipal commissioner.

P Swaroop, Managing Director, Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb), has been transferred as the collector of Sabarkantha district. Whereas, Roopwant Singh, director of Prohibition & Excise, Ahmedabad, has replaced Swaroop as MD of iNDEXTb.

Ahmedabad DDO Udit Agrawal has been transferred as collector of Surendranagar district. Agrawal has been replaced by B R Dave who has been discharging duties as director, District Rural Development Agency, Sabarkantha.

Sabarkantha Collector Banchha Nidhi Pani has replaced P K Solanki as Bhavnagar collector. Solanki has been transferred to Surat as managing director, Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd.

Resident additional collector of Kheda district, S K Langa, has been transferred to Mehsana district as DDO.

V A Vaghela, director of Gujarat Energy Development Agency, has been transferred to Panchmahals district as DDO.

Following the transfers, the Climate Change Department of Gujarat Government has also got a full time secretary in the form of D K Rao. He has been transferred to the Climate Change Department from the post of secretary of Gujarat State Human Rights Commission.
