Molested boy strangled

LAHORE - A 14-year-old boy was found dead from a factory located in Shahdara Town, police said on Monday. Police investigators say they believe Salman Aslam Shah was strangled to death after being molested by unidentified.
His body was moved to the morgue for autopsy while a murder case has been registered against unidentified killers.
A police investigator said that the naked body was lying on a charpoy in a factory room as they reached the spot. Resident of New Paracha Colony, Salman, was a watchman at the factory. He went to the factory on Sunday evening but did not return home next morning. His father told the police that he visited the factory on early Monday in search of his son who was lying dead there. The poor father contacted the police by phone and disclosed them the happening. Edhi ambulance service shifted the body to the Mayo hospitals’ morgue for autopsy.
According to investigators, the police have already begun the probe to solve the blind murder mystery.
Following the media reports, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the gruesome killing and ordered the police to arrest the criminals and ensure the justice at any cost.
The incidents of child abuse are common in this crime-prone society. In January, a five-year-old boy was found murdered in a mosque after being molested in Green Town area of Lahore. Police had arrested 16-year-old Shoaib, a hair dresser at a barber shop near the mosque, in connection with the killing. Shoaib was shot dead by the police in a staged encounter just days after he had confessed the killing of the five-year-old boy.
EXPIRED: A 32-year-old man expired after taking excessive liquor in Nishtar Colony area, police said on Monday. Ahmed Hassan’s condition got deteriorated at his friend’s house as he consumed excessive liquor. He was rushed to a hospital but died in the way. The police are investigating.
FOUND DEAD: Police recovered a sack-packed body from Johar Town on Monday. Police say they believe unidentified men tortured to death a 45-year-old man, yet to be identified, and fled after throwing his sack-packed body in an empty plot near Doctors’ Hospital. Some passers-by noticed the suspicious bag and contacted the police by phone.
Police reached the spot and removed the body to morgue. Further investigations were underway.
