Workshop on industrial automation held

The need for adapting to emerging trends in industrial automation was stressed at a workshop held at the Global Institute of Engineering and Technology at Melvisharam on Saturday.

R. Kumaran, Senior Engineer-WINPRO Automation, Puducherry, the chief guest, explained how automation became the mainstay of all industries. Dinakaran and Saranraj, Senior Engineers at WINPRO Automation gave a presentation on the future of automation in industries.

Hema Prasad, College Chairperson presided. Ram Prasad, College Chairman and Suhas Vedula, Director of Academics urged the students to make the best use of the workshop and be industry ready.
