Two persons died and three got injured after a private luxury bus rammed into a truck near Viramgam early on Monday morning.

AHMEDABAD: Two persons died and three got injured after a private luxury bus rammed into a truck near Viramgam early on Monday morning. One of the injured has filed a complaint against the bus driver for the incident.
According to Viramgam police, a bus was coming from Bhuj towards Ahmedabad.
As per the passengers, the bus driver tried to overtake a truck near Hathalpur some 2 km from Viramgam.
But, during the course realized that he will not be able to overtake. He then lost control and rammed into the truck which he was trying to overtake.
“The left side of the bus was severely damaged after the collision. The two passengers who died in the accident were identified as Samir Thakkar, 52, a resident of Gandhidham and Odhavji Adepal, 45, a resident of Bhuj.
Six other passengers sustained injuries and were shifted to the government hospital in Viramgam by 108 ambulances.
Suresh Solanki, a resident of Gandhidham and other passengers have filed a complaint against the bus driver,” said a Viramgam police official.
