A special private job mela will be held at MVM Government Arts College for Women at R.M. Colony here from 3 p.m. on February 24, according to Collector T.N. Hariharan.
In a press release issued here on Saturday, he said students aged between 18 and 35 years with a minimum qualification of Class V could take part in the mela. Many private companies would take part and recruit candidates, he added.

A private job mela will be held at the District Employment Office in Theni from 11 a.m. on February 26, according to Collector N. Venkatachalam.
Candidates having SSLC, HSC, degree certificates and those who completed computer science, pharmacy and nursing courses, ITI certificate and diploma holders could take part in the job mela. All candidates should bring bio-data and photocopies of educational qualifications. Participation in the job mela would not affect their seniority in the employment exchange, he added.
