I will get justice in SC: Yeddyurappa

February 23, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:42 am IST - HUBBALLI:

The former Chief Minister, B.S. Yeddyurappa, has expressed confidence that he will get justice in the Supreme Court in the land denotification and other cases.

The BJP national vice-president told presspersons during a stopover here on Sunday, that he was the first to put the brakes on illegal mining.

“However, my decision to check illegal mining is being portrayed as a crime and so is the case in the denotification cases pertaining to Rachenahalli, Arkavathi Layout. There is nothing new in what the CBI is saying. It is just repeating what it said earlier. I am confident that the Supreme Court will give me justice,” Mr. Yeddyurappa said.

Lambasting the Congress government for the “lack of development”, Mr. Yeddyurappa said the ruling party members had unnecessarily created confusion over the issue of a Dalit Chief Minister, which, in turn, had badly affected governance.
