Mani opens Viswakarma meet

Finance Minister K.M. Mani inaugurated the Kerala Viswakarma Sabha (KVS) meet at Thiruvalla on Sunday evening. Addressing the meet, Mr. Mani said it was he who had sanctioned pension, through a budget allocation, for the artisans belonging to the Viswakarma community.

P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, former State president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, delivered the keynote address. P.R. Devadas, KVS president, presided. Chris Thomas, co-ordinating editor of Malayala Manorama, and Jayakrishnan, singer, were felicitated on the occasion.
