Ensure proper supply of ration in Noorabad: MLA

JAMMU, Feb 22: MLA Noorabad, Abdul Majid Padder has urged the Government to ensure prompt supply or ration to the people his Constituency.
The MLA said the consumers are not getting the proper supply of ration especially in remote areas and people have suffered due to shortage of the same during the current winter.
In an appeal to Governor, N N Vohra, he urged him to issue directives to Director, CAPD in this regard and he should be asked to visit his Noorabad Constituency where people are facing many problems due to shortage of ration.
He also demanded that uninterrupted power supply be ensured to the people as almost all areas of his constituency are facing hardships due to frequent power cuts which has compounded their problems.
He demanded construction of one more 10 mva transformer at Tehsil Headquarter of Damahal Hanjipora and releasing of Rs 30 lakh in this regard.
The MLA also demanded DPRs be issued for permanent restoration of river Veshio and river Kandai, launching of tourism and pilgrimage tourism projects in his constituency by Department of Tourism including at Ziyarat Sharief of D K Marag and holy shrine of Kheerbhawani Manzgam, various roads in the constituency be taken up for construction under NABARD schemes and taking up the irrigation and PHE schemes in hand by the concerned Departments.
The MLA has taken up all these issues with Governor recently and sought his immediate intervention also.
