Former Chief Minister, B.S. Yeddyurappa has expressed confidence that he would get justice in the Supreme Court in the cases pertaining to denotification and other cases.

The Former Chief Minister and BJP’s national Vice-President, who spoke to presspersons during a stop-over on Sunday, said that he was the first to put a break to illegal mining by stopping it.

“However my decision to check illegal mining is being portrayed as a crime and so is the case in the denotification cases pertaining to Rachenahalli, Arkavati Extension. There is nothing new in what the CBI is saying. It is just repeating what it had said earlier. I am confident that the Supreme Court will give justice to me”, Mr. Yeddyurappa said.

Confusion

Lambasting Congress government for what he termed as ‘lack of development’, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that the ruling party members had unnecessarily created confusion over the issue of ‘Dalit CM’, which in turn had affected the governance badly.

He said that the State government had not completed the planned expenditure in any government sector and developmental works had taken a beating due to the confusion among the ministers and subsequently among the officials.

Failure

Terming the Shivamogga incident as a result of utter failure of law and order, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that till date both the Chief Minister and the Home Minister had taken the issue seriously and because of their lenience, the accused were still at large.

“The people of the state do not know whether the State government is alive or dead. My humble appeal to the Chief Minister is that at least now he should look back and take steps to initiate development works for the welfare of the people and for the development of the state”, he said.
