Shah Rukh-Kajol's love saga to continue in Maratha Mandir

It's been 20 years now and the Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer love saga 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayengey', which is very much in demand, will continue to run at the Maratha Mandir.

Earlier, reports of the movie being pulled out from the single screen theatre Maratha Mandir on Thursday had left the fans disheartened.

However, the ardent fans didn't give up. The continued to request the owner of the theatre until the movie was reinstated.

Confirming that the movie will continue to run in Maratha Mandir, Yashraj Films said, "It has been mutually decided to continue the screening in the same 11:30 AM morning show - without breaking the uninterrupted run of the movie!"

Actress Farida Jalal, who had played the role of Kajol's mother Lajwanti in DDLJ, feels that no other movie can be as good as DDLJ.

Going gaga over the movie, Farida Jalal said, “No movie can match the mark it created. It was one of a kind movie."

The actress, who has acted in over 200 Bollywood films, further added that the charm of the movie will live on forever.

DDLJ is the first film to have won 10 Filmfare awards in 1996.

DDLJ has been produced by Yash Chopra and directed by his son Aditya Chopra.
