Gang Attacks Young Couple With Sticks And Has The Audacity To Film The Assault As A Keepsake

This video shows a young couple being mercilessly thrashed by goons in Jharkhand. While it's not clear whether the incident occurred on Valentines Day when Right-Wing Organisations had threatened to take extreme action against couples they found or at another time. The video which was shot by the couple's attackers shows one man in particular with his face covered by a bandana mercilessly beating a young girl with a stick and then venting his anger on the boy. Even as both the boy as well as the girl plead for mercy, the attackers show no sign of repenting. What's even worse is that the group of attackers felt confident enough of shooting the entire attack on the video which has since then leaked.

It remains to be seen what the Jharkhand Government and the police department can do about this, or if they do anything about it at all.
