Over 1,000 people attend health camp

More than 1,000 people participated in a health camp organised by Unity Development Organisation Committee at Chittinagar here on Saturday. Most of them underwent eye tests, while others checked their diabetes and blood pressure levels.

Committee president R. Praveen Kumar said the committee was planning to conduct cataract surgeries to over 200 people and added that the surgeries would be conducted shortly with the assistance of L.V. Prasad Eye Institute at LVPEI’s Kode Venkatadri Chowdary Campus in Tadigadapa. “We will also provide eye drops and spectacles ,” Mr. Kumar said.
