‘Students have an understanding of competitive exams’

M.V. Prasad, professor, political science, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, has stressed the need for students to have an understanding of competitive examinations to shape their future in a better way.

Delivering a lecture on competitive exams, including those conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and the Karnataka Public Service Commission, for postgraduate students of Smt. Saraladevi Agarwal Government First Grade Degree College here on Saturday, Dr. Prasad gave tips on the books to be read and also about books that gave them enough information to face competitive exams. He also clarified doubts raised by students in detail. A. Hemanna, college principal, called upon students to take advantage of the coaching given by resource persons and pass the exams successfully. R. Manoharan, head of economics department, B. Srinivasmurthy, head of political science department, were present.
