TRS worker dies at rally to welcome Minister

TRS activist Mahankali (50), of Bibipet village, died while taking part in a rally organized to welcome Minister for Panchayat Raj and Information Technology Kalvakuntla Rama Rao at Baswapur on National Highway-44, in Biknoor mandal, on Saturday afternoon.

Mahankali was riding pillion on a motorcycle and fell on the road when another motorcycle hit his vehicle. He was run over by another speeding bike and he became unconscious. He died while being shifted to a hospital in Kamareddy, according to Biknoor Circle Inspector Sreedharkumar.

Ministers Rama Rao and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Government Whip Gampa Govardhan and other leaders who were in the rally expressed grief over the sudden demise of the party activist.
