Be vigilant against drug abuse: Vedi

Certain divisive forces are trying to incite negative sentiments and anti-national feelings among the youth, and the general public should be vigilant against such a trend, Hindu Aikyavedi State general secretary Kummanam Rajashekharan has said.

Mr. Rajashekharan was inaugurating a youth meet held as part of the annual Hindu religious convention at Ranni on Thursday. .

Mr. Rajashekharan said that anti-national elements were trying to attract youth into their fold by luring them into the world of drug and alcohol. The government and the general public should be cautious in containing this trend. The annual meet will come to a close on Sunday.
