The walkathon will lead into the Waetjen auditorium on April 4, beginning at 7.30 a.m. The group led by leading musicians will render Utsava Sampradaya kritis and other compositions of Tyagaraja along the walk. There is no age restriction to participate in the walkathon. The participants have wear ‘Tyagaraja’ T-shirts or a badge for the walk. Certificates will be given away to all the participants along with T-shirts and souvenirs.

The walkathon hopes to help preserve and document the compositions of Tyagaraja and other Mummoorthis and to help the Tyagaraja Aradhana.
