TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gloczus, Inc. announced today the complete release of the critically acclaimed interactive novel “Hakuoki”, which the company has been distributing since December 22, 2014. To date, only the Prologue, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 have been released. In commemoration of Hakuoki’s complete English language release, Gloczus offers a limited “Premium Edition” bundle including exclusive bonus stories and access to all scenarios from the start.
The details of Hakuoki release are as follows.

The player will be able to enjoy the Prologue
for free after downloading the app. Additional stories can be purchased
in game, one-by-one as the player progresses. Once the player completes
all available stories, he will receive a bonus story created exclusively

This scenario is an original Hakuoki story written exclusively for this app. It features newly recorded Japanese voiceovers with the original voice cast, as well as 6 new, exclusive CG events.

The warriors of the Shinsengumi that appear in this story are all people who actually appeared in Japanese history (besides the main character Chizuru). The Shinsengumi story is very popular with Japanese girls, and has been adapted to a broad mix of media including novels, manga, movies, and plays. If the scenario sticks to the historical truth, their story has a sad ending. However, this game includes story arcs that don’t only end in tears. Hakuoki evolves based on the choices its players make, so no one can say how it will end.
