Diane von Furstenberg hosted her annual ladies’ Oscars lunch, with Hilary Swank and Anne Sweeney, for 60 guests, including 20 current nominees.
Spotted at DVF’s Coldwater Canyon spread were Meryl Streep, Rosamund Pike, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Ava DuVernay, Rita Ora and Patricia Arquette.
One guest remarked that von Furstenberg “made an inspirational speech” to the power women, many in DVF dresses, then later sent them home with copies of her book “The Woman I Wanted To Be,” in DVF gift bags for maximum branding.
On Saturday, she and Barry Diller host their annual Oscars picnic, which was rained out last year.
