MANGALURU: The Yogeshwar Kadali Mutt at Kadri here will be a beehive of activity for the next four days from Friday. Former Union minister M Veerappa Moily will inaugurate a new concrete road leading to the mutt on Friday. This will be followed by Pranapratishta Mahotsav, inauguration of new bhavan, and religious programmes in the next three days.
Raja Sandhyanathji, head of Kadali Mutt said that the mutt, though referred to as 'Jogi Mutt' does not specifically cater to the Jogi community.
It is managed by sadhus who follow the Natha Pantha. There are people of all communities in this pantha who lead a life dedicated to ensuring global peace and harmony, he said.
A total of 23 idols dedicated to various saints of the sect will be consecrated as part of the religious rituals that will be held from Saturday. These include idols of Sri Jwala Mata, Sri Hatayogi Sidda Baba Jwalanathji maharaj, Sri Hatayogi Uttarakhandi Sidda Baba Sri Rajayogi Sundarnathji maharaj, along with idols of Lord Ganesha, Sri Hanuman, Navdurgas, a new Shivalinga, Gou-Gopala (Lord Krishna).
A grand Ratha Yatra will be taken out on Saturday that will start from the mutt, go through Nanthoor Circle, Mallikatte, Kadri Temple and return to the mutt. Saints descending from various parts of the country will deliver discourses.
The pranapratishta rituals and purnahuthi will be held on Monday.
