RAJKOT: A 22-year-old woman, Dipu Goswami, succumbed to the deadly swine flu virus on Thursday.
Goswami, a resident of Ashapura Main Road in the city, died in a private hospital.
According to Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) officials, the H1N1 virus outbreak has claimed four persons in the city since January 1 while 29 people have tested positive.

Meanwhile, the officials of the food and drugs control department in Rajkot claimed that swine flu medicines are available in medical stores and people should not be worried about scarcity. There are eight such medical stores from where people can buy these medicines on the basis of prescriptions in the city.
They can purchase the medicines from Vikas Medical Store and Shreenath Medical Store in Astron Chowk, Wockdhart Hospital, Sterling Hospital, Gayatri Medical Store on Vidhyanagar Road, HJ Doshi Hospital Store on Gondal Road, Giriraj Medical Store on the 150ft Ring Road and Shivam Medical Store near Indira Circle.
