Productivity Week concludes

V.O. Chidambaranar Port in Tuticorin is in the process of mechanising cargo evacuation operation from the ninth berth to coal yard, and transferring cargo from berth VOC IV to wagon and truck loading system from existing coal yard, according to a statement issued by Deputy Chairman of VOC Port Trust S. Natarajan.

Addressing the valedictory of Productivity Week here on Wednesday, Mr. Natarajan said these facilities were being made to serve EXIM community effectively and improve productivity.

He gave away prizes to winners of competitions organised on the occasion.
