February 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:37 am IST - DHARWAD:

The Sriram Sene will organise a Hindu convention at Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district soon, sene chief Pramod Mutalik has said.

He told presspersons here on Wednesday that Bhatkal reportedly had links with terrorist activities. The Bharatiya Janata Party government and the Congress government failed to break the terrorist network in the coastal town, he alleged.

As a prelude to the convention, a jatha would be held from Bengaluru to Bhatkal. The government should arrest those who reportedly made derogatory remarks against the Bhagawad Gita at a seminar in Mysuru, he said.
