The Kingdom of Bahrain's national carrier, Gulf Air, was recently honored for the second consecutive year with an award at the annual Inflight Sales Person of the Year event (ISPY 2015), held in the United Kingdom.

Gulf Air cabin crew members Ms. Celia Jackson and Ms. Anna Jacobs were recognized in the category of Team Award for Sales as a Service PA on behalf of the airline in addition to being awarded a certificate for "world's greatest selling cabin crew 2015" for their outstanding customer service skills, product knowledge of onboard duty free products and onboard sales, in a competition that saw almost 100 cabin crew representing 37 airlines from around the world.

Gulf Air Chief Operations Officer, Captain Nasser Al Salmi congratulated the winning crew members saying: "We are delighted to see members of our cabin crew represented at such competitive awards and recognized at this industry-wide event. Following on from our win in 2014, our consecutive successes are a testament to our customer-oriented cabin crew team and their commitment to enhancing our passengers' journey. On behalf of the airline and, supplementing the recognition they have already received, I thank them for their efforts."

The annual ISPY awards are a one-of-a-kind international event that recognizes all aspects of cabin crew's contribution towards inflight sales. Gulf Air was previously recognized at ISPY2014 when Gulf Air cabin crew members Ms. Sandra Stojanovic and Ms. Ewa Chachlowska were both awarded the Silver Medal for Sales Awareness and Maximizing Sales Techniques.
