Aindrita Ray says no to plastic surgery
A freak injury has left a deep scar on Aindrita Ray's nose, but the Kannada actress is not planning a surgery to take the scar off. She has decided to hide the wound behind makeup rather than go under the scalpel. Last weekend, she put a plaster on the nose and added lots of makeup on it and took part in the shooting for a song for the film Sharpshooter. "I am too scared of surgeries.
I hate needles. It will be makeup, makeup, and makeup," she says. After completing shooting for Niruttaraand Melkote Manja, the actress took a long holiday in Krabi (Thailand) and Dubai. The happiness was short-lived when she returned home and banged her nose on a glass door.Explaining how the accident happened, she says, "I hurt my nose when I banged it against a glass door. It happened after I returned to my home from Dubai. It was very, very silly. I did not see the glass edge and rammed my face right into it while wearing shoes. A wound opened up. I am still nursing it. It happened just two days before the song shoot for Sharpshooter. I had to cover it up with a band aid and had lot of makeup. The wound is bad and is going to leave a permanent scar for sure."
HAD A GREAT BENGALI STINT
Aindrita had a successful outing in Bengali in 2014. Her first Bengali film, Bachchan, turned out to be a huge success. After a break from Kannada films after Bhajarangi, she also completed shooting Melkote Manja in which she is paired with Jaggesh for the first time and Niruttara, the debut of director Apoorva Kasaravalli.
"Last year was hectic with Bachchan, Melkote Manja and Niruttara. So this year, I wanted to start with a holiday. In Sharpshooter, it is only for a special song. I want something phenomenal for me to jump into a film. So taking it easy and it will be a while I nurse back my nose."
