IIM-K arts fete from tomorrow

‘Echoes,’ the annual cultural extravaganza of the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K) will be held on the institute campus at Kunnamangalam in Kozhikode from February 20 to 22.

Last year’s edition of ‘Echoes’ had a footfall of around 5,000 people over three days. The event is expected to attract more people this time, said a release from the organisers here.

With participants from various cities across the country participating, the event this time will feature a wide range of events including music, dance, fashion parade, theatre, literary, arts, informals, quizzing, and photography spread over three days.

The event will also have three performances by renowned artists. Bollywood playback singer Shilpa Rao will perform on the first day of the event while the Bangalore-based singer-composer Reghu Dixit will perform on the second day. Carnatic Rock band ‘Agam’ will have their concert on the concluding day of the event.

The tickets for the programme are available at Down Town, Subway, Kingsbay, Chocotree and Dominoes in the city.

Tickets can also be bought online at www.iimkechoes.com.

The tickets can also be purchased at the venue. The event will be open only for college students with a valid college ID, said the release.
