Stars come together for Ganesh Acharya’s dance number Birju

Ganesh Acharya is geared up for his forthcoming movie Hey Bro, directed by Ajay Chandhok. The choreographer has released a promotional song Birju, which features Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Prabhudheva.
Naturally, the star-studded line-up makes it an interesting video. While Ganesh shakes a leg with Bachchan, Hrithik and Prabhudheva, Ranveer displays his rapping skills and hip hop moves.Ajay, looking suave, adds his own charm and Akshay shows his wacky side. The signature step, choreographed by Rahul and Sanjeev, has the viewers hooked. Written by Pranav Vatsa, the song is inspired by Mother India’s famous dialogues — ‘Birju, tu ayegva bitwa’ and ‘Lala, meri maa ke kangan lauta de.’

Sung by Udit Narayan and Mika Singh, the song, which has been composed by Nitz ‘N’ Sony, has gained popularity among listeners. Says Ganesh, “I have been in the industry for over two decades and I’ve made some good friends here. I’m thankful to Amitji, Hrithik, Ajay, Prabhudheva, Akshay and Ranveer for taking time out from their busy schedules and doing this song for me. I’m also very happy with the way the video has turned out.”
