Ilaiyaraja undergoes girivalam

Maestro Ilaiyaraja had offered his prayers at Sri Arunachaleshwarar temple in Thiruvannamalai yesterday and the 'Isaignani' also underwent 'girivalam' around the holy hills. Actor Dhanush's wife and director Aishwaryaa Dhanush who also accompanied the ace musician tweeted, "Girivalam with ilayaraja uncle ..arunachaleshwarar darisanam n now heading back..Most memorable shivaratri .OM NAMAH SHIVAAYA." Last year, the music icon Ilaiyaraja after recuperating from the chest pain he suffered, had paid a visit to Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple and performed Girivalam.Some of the acclaimed music composer's projects include director Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai' and Anushka starrer 'Rudramadevi'.
