E.M. Abdul Rahman, national vice chairman of the Popular Front of India (PFI), has said that Hindutva fascism, led by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is the biggest challenge faced by the country.
He was addressing PFI activists and sympathisers from the southern districts of the State at a public meeting organised in connection with the observance of Popular Front Day here on Tuesday.
“With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coming to power at the Centre, the warnings given by the PFI about it several years ago are turning into reality,” Mr. Rahman said. He alleged the BJP-led government at the Centre was committed to Hindutva fascism.
