NV Nirmal to direct Venkatesh

Venkatesh is gearing up to start the shooting for his upcoming Telugu entertainer to be directed by NV Nimal who made his debut with Tamil hit film Salim starring Vijay Antony and Aksha.
As earlier reported, Venky was in talks with Nirmal for the Telugu remake of Salim, but things did not fall in right place and the duo planned to work on a fresh script. Hence, Salim Telugu version is slated for February 20th release with 'Dr.Salim' as title.
Burra Sai Madhav of 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' and 'Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju' fame will write the dialogues for this untitled Venkatesh starrer.
